If you like Puerto Rican food and big portions… this is the spot!
This platter I’m holding is only an appetizer. It’s called “El Esmayao”, it translates “the one who’s fainted” The real question is: Did he faint of hunger? Or Did he faint, when he saw the platter? 😂
I particularly enjoyed this, because it was half vegetarian and half meat lovers. My eldest daughter isn’t onboard with my recent lifestyle choices.
She normally boycotts my veggie inclination by eating or ordering the savagest meat dishes.
This was a happy medium and we were both able to enjoy the same dish!
It comes with tostones, fried cheese, sorullos, chicken chicharrón, pork, croquetas de jamón and chorizó. IT’S A LOT!!! 🐽
FYI: I’m a big fan of the cilantro rice. I would come back and only eat several portions of it with a #parchita juice. IT’S THAT GOOD!
