The menu is designed for you to order everything and share, which I absolutely love!
Large menus are an automatic turnoff for me, because it’s almost impossible they’ll be able to deliver greatness in each dish.
This restaurant definitely delivered greatness and above all, refined flavor!
The Olives are a entertaining way to break the ice, while sipping on some Natural Wine.
I couldn’t stop eating them, until they were gone!
The Cucumber Salad seemed so simple, that I almost didn’t order it, and it was simply delicious. It was very refreshing, but it also provided some comfort due to the creamy dressing. I particularly enjoyed the texture from the toasted Chulpe Corn and the fact that you could control the heat yourself by eating a chili and decide to withhold the heat or cool down with some dressed cucumber.
The noodles were the source of the flaw… it particularly hurt, because it had the same issue I had previously complained about, when they first opened. I was hoping they had actually listened to me.
While the texture of the fresh noodle and the aji amarillo sauce is actually amazing, they aren’t giving the sauce enough humidity, so the noodles don’t dry it out as they sit in it.
By the time the plate hits the table, the noodles are pasty and it affects the feel on the palate. Instead of velvety and luscious it’s sticky and kind of grainy. The crispy enoki mushrooms on the other hand are addicting. They should bag them and sell the as a snack!
The shrooms were the jewel of the night. It’s a play on Lomo Saltado, but substituting the beef for Maitake mushrooms.
Finally, a vegetarian riff on a classic that is just as good. No comprises on flavor, texture and satisfaction!
Picarones are the only dessert option. They are a Peruvian take on a potato donut, but with a lot more personality. They are super airy and have a crunchy texture. They serve it with a clove honey that you just want to bathe in.
This place is very special and it makes Orlando a better place!
