Food focused fine dining is relatively new to Orlando. At this current moment, based on the places I’ve had the pleasure to experience, this Winter Tasting Menu at this modern and refined Vietnamese restaurant is clearly on the very top of the list.
There are just a handful of restaurants providing this same level of proficiency & ingenuity, while transmitting pleasure through each dish.
This one is a hard one to review as a whole, because each dish is so complex and unique, they should deserve an individual and detailed review.
9/10 perfectly executed dishes. And that one guy was just a little too spicy and threw the balance off the dish. I enjoyed it, because I like the heat, but I mean it objectively.
My favorite was the King Trumpet Mushrooms with the tamarind sauce, which was my vegetarian version of their scallop dish. I can say without a doubt in my mind that my shroom version was better than the OG.
Canh Chua (Creamy Phò) was another show stopper. It took the creativity award for me. The biggest praise for a chef is plagiarism, which means I’m definitely stealing the recipe. SORRY NOT SORRY!
If you value this form of art, people call dining out… this is Orlando’s Mona Lisa.
Note: THEY BETTER GET A STAR @michelinguide
