Experiencing this restaurant was quite an adventure.
Apart from surviving I-4 in order to get to it from Orlando, I actually refer to the culinary portion of the endeavor.
The menu is all over the place, which means it can’t be defined by a specific cuisine. When the food is at this level of delicious, it has a category of its own.
You could see a certain favor towards East Asian flavors, noticiable in the food and the drinks.
It was an impeccable meal from start to finish with the exception of the lack of salt in the White Asparagus dish.
It was honestly crying for it, which was a shame to such a technically flawless dish.
My favorite bite of the night was undoubtedly the dumpling. It was an explosion of flavor with beautiful textures and it was made with tofu, hence the name “Not Pork Dumplings”
This dish is an homage to vegan food!
Now, the coolest dish of the night was dessert. The mochi was good, but the combination of miso, five spice and butterscotch was brilliant lunacy!
The salty miso and the butterscotch was a daring and successful take on salted caramel.
This restaurant is definitely a destination!
