This arepa is normally consumed as a breakfast item, but I can eat it whenever.
The #huevospericos could have used a little salt, but the fried #arepa was on point.
I got a side of #falafel and added a side of #muhammara for dipping action and before I knew it I was mixing it with corn sauce and garlic aioli…
I know it sounds weird, but I found it very satisfying!
Oh, and if you’re mind boggled by arepas and #shawarma in the same place… there is a big Lebanese and Syrian community in Venezuela.
FYI: I think they should make a falafel arepa of sorts… I’d be the first one there to eat it.
