This airport restaurant located in MCO was categorized as one of the top airport eats in America.
Obviously, I had been looking forward to end in the right gate in order to check them out. I had already tried several times, but I was always on the wrong side of the airport.
The restaurant itself is very inviting, it has a patio style setting and a bar area, that would make it very easy to make you lose a flight.
I ordered several appetizers and only this main dish, so my opinion is only based on what I ate.
Nothing was really worthy to be excited about a second visit, with the exception of the venue, the drinks and the beer selection.
In theory, I loved the approach of this southern interpretation of meat and potatoes, as well as the idea of making the meatloaf with smoked brisket burnt ends.
The meatloaf itself was very flavorful and my favorite thing was how tender it was. It was very easy to eat, but I didn’t think the plate came together.
The idea of the ketchup was very heartwarming, but it was a little too much. I liked the idea of the green tomato as an acidic component to this heavy dish, but I didn’t like how it looked on the plate.
Maybe my standards were to high based on it being from the same group as @theravenouspigbrewingco & @thepolitepig
Regarles, if I end up on the right side again, I’ll be glad to sit down and grab so more food & drinks!
