I’m glad to report, I was happily surprised by the menu and the food.
When they first opened I thought the theme was way better than the food. The place was cool but the food wasn’t.
Now I feel it’s up to par. Now the food matches the super cool venue. Everything was flavorful and cooked properly.
The #porkbelly for instance was treated properly and paired nicely with a ginger-scallion sauce that brought brightness to the fatty dish.
If anything I wasn’t very taken by the cocktails, but they were still good.
This spot is definitely a destination if you haven’t been yet.
I’m glad I gave them another chance, when I heard they had a new chef.
