Mushrooms are my favorite thing to eat in the world!
At age 12, my birthday meal was a bowl of sautéed button mushrooms… that should resume it for you.
I mention this, because this dish is a mushroom extravaganza!
It’s a dumpling stuffed with a mushroom duxelle, accompanied by a #shiitake crema and a truffle pâté.
That translates UMAMI over UMAMI with a side of UMAMI!
It was 6 of us at our table, we pretty much ordered the entire menu and this was the dish everyone was most impressed with.
All the other guys had the A5 WAGYU, the premium TORO, the STICKY RIBS to just mention a few of the meat forward dishes that were consumed and the VEGGIE dish took the win.
I don’t say this lightly or humorously, I could come back; and I just might, to get 10 orders of these just for myself.
Orlando should be proud to have a restaurant and a James Beard Award nominee chef of this caliber.
Apart from the amazing food, our server was also great. If anything, I felt she was maybe overly stretched with her tables. It’s not a big venue and it was hard to catch her attention, when she wasn’t coming by to check on us.
Forget about MICKEY, this restaurant alone should make ORLANDO your destination!
