Who doesn’t like a good show???
I do, as long as the food is just as good as the bells and whistles.
I’m happy to report the food is very good!
It’s a new restaurant and they are still working out some kinks, especially with the logistics of the table side service, but they are on the right track!
Normally, you have to spend some coin to get this kind of service and this concept allows for the average Joe to experience some WOW along with legit food without breaking the bank.
The menu has a good balance between some hardcore MEXICAN dishes like #cochinitapibil and some AMERICAN favorites like #nachos
The food is done with passion and the salsas are more FIRE than the actual fondue!
The use of Mezcal for the flambé made the fondue for me… it just took the dish to another level. Once the alcohol burns off, it provides this boozy sweetness to the dish and it’s just extra UMAMI.
They are using Monterrey Jack and I believe #quesooaxaca would be a better choice, but that’s just picky me…
I’m onboard with the concept!
