I do have to say, the size of the portions definitely activated something primal in me…
I admit size mattered!
Truly, what makes the food is their Pico de Gallo. This isn’t very common in Venezuelan food and I think it works.
The pico gives it a burst of freshness, from the fresh acidity that breaks through all the fat and carbs.
It’s like a burst of flavor you aren’t expecting and it makes all the difference!
Without that, it would have been the same old food truck with the same old food you can find all over Orlando nowadays.
I went 3 cheeses due to my dietary choices and it worked well. I didn’t think I was going to eat the whole thing and I did.
I would have liked the bread to have been toasted or griddled a bit. It was good, but a little chewy. A little bit of heat would have done wonders.
