Orlando is definitely lacking in the quality of its Chinese food. I’m not saying this is the only good spot, but the list is very short. It also might be the only #chineserestaurant that has “hand pulled noodles” & “hand cut noodles”.
I love these #noodles so much I’ve traveled for them in more than one instance. Most places pulling their own noodles by hand have a window, where you can actually see the action happen before you. This restaurant doesn’t, which is a bummer… I asked, if I could see them do it, as a professional courtesy, but they said; I wouldn’t be allowed in the kitchen. My naive mind first thought: I get it, it wouldn’t be very sanitary to let me in… then the Colombian voice kicked in: maybe the noodles aren’t hand pulled, or they’re not fresh, or the kitchen is dirty, or… then I remembered the food was amazing and I forgot about the whole thing.
For the record, the noodles had edges, which isn’t common for the normal rounded pull, but the flavor and texture was perfect.
This food didn’t only please me and my scrutiny, but it also pleased 5 kids in different age ranges and 2 other very picky adults. The conclusion is simple and crystal clear…
THE FOOD IS GREAT!!!
