I think that fried squid or calamari is one of the most famous appetizers in restaurants in America.
It’s hard not to find it in a menu… in some restaurants it doesn’t even belong and it’s still there. For the same reason, it normally ends up being disappointing, causing me to stay away from it.
Whenever I order it, it’s because someone at the table wants it, or because I’m told it’s a must…
Well, I ordered it here and for the first time, they asked me if I wanted it with shrimp as well and that I immediately liked. When it arrived it seemed like many others I had tried before, but the flavor was on point!!!
It was fried well, where there was no unpleasant oily aftertaste and it was seasoned perfectly.
The pomodoro was good, but the fritti was so good, it wasn’t necessary. Just a squeeze of lemon to contrast the fat.
The only thing left to says is: I WANT MORE SHRIMP!!!
