As I was reading the menu, I was a little bummed due to all the well composed and ample selection of options with animal protein, and not that many vegetarian options.
Surprisingly, just from the looks of the execution of the non vegetarian items, I’m quite confident I had a better meal with the vegetarian options that were available.
Take this mushroom dish, it was paired with these amazing fried grits croutons and a tomato aioli. Although I’m a big fan of mushrooms, I felt more attracted by the supporting actors. It was a delicious dish!
I did feel the food came out too fast, and I noticed it in the texture and temperature of the mushrooms as well as I could clearly see it in the fried chicken breast.
The cocktails on the other hand were amazing and the atmosphere at the bar was even better.
Can wait to come back for more drinks!
