I was happily surprised with the food coming through from the menu to the plate.
The menu items are based on Latin dishes, but they are upgraded and/or modified with flavors from other Latin American countries. I loved the concept and the food was very good.
These #arepas were very playful. The idea of having the cornmeal infused with different flavors like black bean, cilantro, beets and the more traditional cheese was great.
The arepas could have had more flavor intensity, but the “Nata” butter or curd butter overcame that issue. I could have eaten a flip flop with that butter!!!
The ambiance and setting was very nice and inviting. We did experience some service issues… all of our food was warm rather than hot and some of our drinks stood longer than necessary at the bar, but it could be due to the lack of personnel the restaurant industry is experiencing.
