This restaurant has an award for world’s best restaurant at a theme park.
Although really big shoes to fill, I for one, haven’t had anything better at a park in the 16 years I’ve been here.
Now, before you decide to take my word, I haven’t made it my goal to eat well at parks. I normally survive the whole day on a pretzel and find a good place to eat outside, when I leave the park.
So, my input won’t be any good as corroboration for the award, but I can definitely give you my two cents on the food I ate and the experience.
I know the word bowl, sounds more like a “go through the line” kind of restaurant, but to quite frank, I came for the #spanakopita dip and I left reminiscing about the bowl.
First of all, I love Israeli couscous and they did an amazing job treating it properly. It was toasted majestically and infused with #zaatar spices, which gave it so much dimension.
The choice of toppings was also on point! I can’t stop thinking of the roasted vine tomatoes. They were literally a flavor bomb.
If anything, I felt the bowl needed more couscous. It was more of a layer than what would constitute a bowl.
If you are at Island of Adventure and you want a good meal, this is definitely a good spot!
