There are 2 subgroups when it comes to “tortilla de patatas” for me.
One is the thick version that’s served cold, primarily as tapas and the thinner, mushier version that can be served hot or cold.
I tend to prefer the thin version, especially if I can eat it fresh.
The thicker version like the one in the picture I usually avoid because it’s normally over cooked and dry.
This wasn’t the case here… it was moist and so pleasant to eat.
Normally, one of these slices is enough for one person and I ate 3 and change.
Pretty much the whole thing… what can I say? When I like something, it’s hard for me to stop!!!
Make sure you get a side of the aioli. It’s amazing!!!
