At least there’s one Colombian restaurant in town that’s not serving the same old food.
I’m Colombian and going to a Colombian restaurant excites me at first in essence and then turns me off, because I know what to expect.
This place is shaking it up in a good way. It’s still very Colombian, but with different optics. Everything is made from scratch and it’s delicious. They have amazing sauces to go with your food that are crafted by the owner and I can guarantee there is nothing that even compares elsewhere.
These #vegan empanadas are a new recipe. Before they were filled with potatoes and lentils to mimic the more tradicional filling of potatoes and ground beef. Honestly, I think I preferred the original recipe, because it really felt like a Colombian empanada and if you didn’t really pay attention it would be hard to notice it was actually vegan. I miss the mind f*ck and the nostalgia. With that being said, the filling is delish and the dough was on spot.
My GO-TO Colombian restaurant in Orlando!
