I came in for some coffee and found so much more!
For starters, they are getting the coffee straight from the growers in Colombia and getting it roasted locally by the order. This guarantees an optimal coffee experience. Most people are unaware that coffee has a shelf life. And its prime is within the first 2 weeks of being roasted. After those 2 weeks, the coffee loses most of its more magical properties. Most coffee from commercial coffee shops are serving old coffee opposite to boutique spots like this, where they are taking it seriously.
On the food front, I was expecting some pastries and I found stuffed tostones and these beautiful spinach infused arepas. I thought I was going to just have a bite or two and I ate it all. Very good! #supportlocal
