This dessert should be a part of the state’s seal. I haven’t stopped thinking about it… I’m almost 3 hours away currently and I wouldn’t mind driving there just to eat it again right now!
They took banana pudding to a whole other level without losing the comfort. If anything they made it more comforting by making it a semifreddo. A #semifreddo is almost like a frozen mousse. Texturally, it is like you mixed ice cream and cake and made it one. As a kid I loved mixing cake with ice cream and frequently drank banana milkshakes… now tie in my current obsession for caramel… THEY GOT ME!!!
Apart from my undeniable connection with the dessert, the most admirable thing, is that they elevated the dish while leaving its soul intact… that’s unusual! KUDOS!
